Annika is a recent MS Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate of Johns Hopkins University. She has a bachelor's degree from the University of Rochester. Alongside her involvement with the Yu Lab, Annika is currently serving as a Residential Social Worker at the House of Ruth MD. Annika is interested in learning more about positive family mental health outcomes, inclusive parenting approaches, intergenerational trauma and stressors, and how adverse and positive childhood experiences impact emotional development across a lifespan. She hopes to build skills to advance in her academic career in the near future!
